Job Summary:

The Process Engineer shall manage new & current business processes for both cleanroom & non-cleanroom operations. Key roles include providing technical expert advice on use of qualified equipment, work process flows, operating procedures, troubleshooting & training. Additional roles include performing R&D on new technology, customization for business requirements & implementation of solution.

Specific Responsibilities 

1. Review engineering drawing & specifications, design and execute engineering experiments, calculations and statistical control for new products & processes

2. Delivering engineering activities to support and improve the company’s manufacturing & supply chain operations.

3. Ensure manufacturing processes are capable of meeting and continue to meet quality, cost, delivery rate and lead time requirements to customers

4. Perform trouble shooting & analysis of production & process issues for cleanroom & non-cleanroom operations. Perform process redesign where required.

5. Support qualification & setup (where applicable) of new materials, recipe, processes & system application for both cleanroom & non-cleanroom operations.

6. Identify opportunities for new or improved processes to meet current or future requirements

7. Perform new equipment & materials validation using standards involving IQ, OQ & PQ methodology

8. Source new suppliers, qualify specifications & perform cost estimation to price out project expenses

9. Support new business projects & technology implementation

10. Research, Procure, Qualify & Implement new solutions (equipment or materials)

11. Train & build technical & process capabilities within department while providing technical expert support to other MM sites.

Competencies

1. General awareness of Manufacturing Systems e.g. CAD, Manufacturing Execution System, ERP & Technical Publications

2. General experience with work flow Simulation software & Robotics applications e.g. Flexsim & UiPath

3. Experience with write-ups on work procedure workflow & instructions for production process

4. Experience with statistical process control & other quality/performance control tools

5. Ability to apply ISO13485, GDPMDS & other ISO standards to existing operations & into new businesses

6. Knowledge on end to end processes from technical/material qualification, process qualification to manufacturing & supply chain logistics engineering

7. Resourceful, able to independently conduct research & apply new solution to business requirements

8. Proven Project management skills

9. Good presentation skills

10. Independent, self-motivated, process oriented & analytical.
